Johnny Depp Allegedly Spends $30K A Month On Wine Alone

The divorce between Amber Heard and Johnny Depp now seems far more contentious than it had to be. You'll recall that Depp sought $100,000 in legal fees from Amber Heard. What seemed petty then seems like a downright cruel now, as a new lawsuit from The Management Group has laid bare Depp's allegedly extravagant spending. His ex-managers' lawsuit alleges that Depp spends around $2 million per month, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The suit is a counter-claim, as Depp is currently suing those same managers for $25 million. "Depp lived an ultra-extravagant lifestyle that often knowingly cost Depp in excess of $2 million per month to maintain, which he simply could not afford," attorney Michael Kump writes in a document obtained by THR. "Depp, and Depp alone, is fully responsible for any financial turmoil he finds himself in today." TMG says Depp has spent $75 million spent on 14 residences and $18 million on a mega-yacht. But the real kicker is that the Pirates star allegedly drops $30,000 on wine each month. That's a lot of wine. Nobody drinks that much wine. Bacchus, the god of wine, thinks that's a little much. Naturally, this is just an allegation. So we won't know the real numbers until discovery. Get excited, we guess. Also, we now know why he's back in the Pirates franchise.
