This Model's Approach To Body Positivity Will Have You Rolling With Laughter

If you need a little reminder to stay body positive throughout your day, you can easily let this model's Chamillionaire remix get stuck in your head.

Body positive activist and model Khrystyana shared her remake, "Riding Purdy," in an Instagram post alongside photos from a shoot celebrating her love for her stomach rolls.

Khrystyana wrote the new lyrics on her stomach to celebrate her body positivity even more. "They see me rollin' they lovin'," she wrote, echoing her own feelings about her belly, which she referred to as her "pride and joy."

"Somehow I often sing the original when i look at my rolls but I recently realized that I kept unconsciously reinforcing the word 'hate' towards my rolls, so I changed ‘hate' to 'love'. Now I sing 'They see me rollin’ they lovin,'" Khrystyana wrote in another post.

Although she hasn't always had such a positive relationship with her body, Khrystyana said that she learned to overcome the negative opinions that the modeling industry had instilled in her, and instead to love every part of her body, especially her stomach.

"This hate turned into love and I genuinely like my rolls now. Now when I shoot with a photographer I always make sure to ask them, 'Don't photoshop my pride and joy please,'" she wrote.

This isn't the first time Khrystyana has made headlines for her inspiring body image. In April, she walked a catwalk in Times Square in only her underwear in the name of body positivity. And in the same month, she took to Instagram again to show the painful truth that can come with beauty, especially with items like shapewear and heels.

Not only is she tackling serious issues, but she's also finding ways to have fun with them, as she did with her hilarious "Ridin' Dirty" remix. While the need for better body representation is no joke, Khrystyana found a way to have us all laughing with her.
