How To Shop The Ordinary At Sephora One Day Early

Update: The holiday season is full of surprises, even in the beauty world. Case in point? The Ordinary, a Canadian skin-care brand that’s drawn rave reviews for its simple formulas and affordable prices, is hitting Sephora's digital shelves starting today. (The products are expected to hit stores in March.) All you have to do is download the retailer's app to gain 24 hours of early access — then get shopping.

Good news, beauty obsessives: Deciem’s The Ordinary is coming to Sephora. Until now, products from the Toronto-based skin-care brand have only been available online, where they frequently sell out due to its cult-favorite status in the beauty industry. The Ordinary products will be sold on Sephora’s website starting in December, WWD reports, and they’ll hit brick-and-mortar Sephora stores this March.

While many of fall’s hottest beauty products put a massive dent in your wallet (ahem, Drunk Elephant Babyfacial), no item in The Ordinary’s line-up costs over $20. Still, The Ordinary doesn’t skimp on quality to justify its low prices. The line, which comes highly recommended by enthusiasts on the sub-Reddit SkinCareAddiction, offers highly concentrated doses of skin-restoring vitamins like niacinamide and retinoid without wasting a ton of overhead on flashy packaging. (If you have no idea what those vitamins are or why you would want to smear them on your face, check out this expert guide on the science of skincare.)
I can personally vouch for Deciem’s Hyaluronic Acid formula, which has made me at least 4% more attractive in just a few months. (No, this is not #sponcon, and I will prove it by admitting that their Vitamin C Suspension made my face itch and had a citrusy smell that reminded me of a car air freshener. But maybe that's just me.)
Hey, no skin-care brand can win 'em all, but The Ordinary comes pretty close.
