After a nearly year-long engagement, country music stars Kelsea Ballerini and Morgan Evans tied the knot this weekend. The two lovebirds, wed in an intimate seaside ceremony according to People magazine. The wedding was held Saturday evening in Cabo San Lucas.
While official photos of the ceremony have yet to be released, People also shared a photo of Ballerini's "simple and classic" gown, and it looks like the ideal beach wedding dress.
As for the lead up to the newlyweds’ big day, Ballerini was over the moon with excitement. “With our careers, we get to do what we love, then we get to find time to be with who we love. I think that makes for a really full life,” Ballerini said to People. She also explained that she was looking forward to “everything” about marriage.

Meanwhile, Evans seemed to be in full-on research mode, speaking to friends about what to expect. “In the lead-up to a wedding, you ask a lot of your married friends — especially people that are in similar situations or similar age — ‘Does anything change or is it just the same but a little more awesome?’ Everyone keeps telling us, ‘Ah, it gets better,” he said in the same interview.
Ballerini and Evans announced their engagement last year on Instagram, as she was “burning pancakes” in the kitchen on Christmas day. The two country singers met while co-hosting the Country Chanel Music Awards in Australia, Evan’s native country and had been dating for nearly nine months before their engagement.
While details of their wedding date were unknown until now, the “I Hate Love Songs” singer shared photos of her bachelorette party — hinting that a wedding was on the way. From the looks of it, the shindig was just as epic as the wedding, complete with Bridesmaids references and a selfie with J.Lo.
