Jewels & Dinner? Dannijo’s Presentation Had No Models, Just Food

The girls at DANNIJO sleep, dream, live, and eat jewelry... and so do we (dude it's calorie free!). But every so often, we need to take a break from gobbling up cuffs and cocktail rings to nosh on some real food. So, last night we gathered at West Village restaurant Kingswood to nosh on nom noms—including the best rocket salad we've ever had— with a very chic, very blinged-out gang to celebrate #NYFW, and of course, some wild-style jewels. Instead of the typical presentation, Danielle and Jodie Snyder were the designers we've heard of to do a dinner mise-en-scène to showcase their new fall '12 baubles. An array of 'Jo muses donned a piece from the new collection and wore them during the meal—no standing still, no runway, no bright lights, just the product in real life. We're guessing this was probably the only Fashion Week event where it wasn't a "don't" to show up wearing the same (or similar) piece.
