Summer fever has officially descended. And since you've already broken out your flirty, skin-baring, hot-weather wardrobe, why not turn up the heat even more with another spicy little number—a sexy summer hairstyle? The look is completely attainable: Amp up a simple, understated look with some big-time sex appeal by adding movement, texture, and volume. Showcase your extra-sultry wild side (that's far from trashy) and attempt a Brigitte Bardot-inspired bombshell look. Try the effortlessly disheveled morning-after 'do, or go for some easy beach waves with an alluring flip. Whatever your fancy, we've found some easy tricks for cranking up the heat in your hairstyle.

The Sexy Summer Flip—An alluring mix of punky and sexy, this style plays off an undercut but is easy to recreate and requires zero commitment. First, add a volumizing mousse to damp hair. Make a deep side-part and blow-dry hair with a boar-bristle brush, pulling hair to one side. Backcomb at the crown to for extra volume, and add braids underneath the hair or french braid the back, à la Charlotte Ronson's fall '11 show, or just keep it simple and flip hair over the top and to the side. Finish with hairspray.

The Messy Morning After—Start with a volumizing mousse and blow-dry or spray a texturing styling gel on dry hair. Use a one-inch curling iron to create randomly placed waves, then run fingers through hair and backcomb at the roots. The messier, slept-in, and more wind-blown-looking, the better.

The Half-Up Bombshell—Hot rollers will give your hair mega volume, like Lindsey Wixson's 'do in Opening Ceremony's spring/summer '11 look book, but a one-inch curling iron will do the trick, too. Once the curls are set, brush hair out and spray on a volumizing, dry hairspray at the roots to add volume. Backcomb at the crown, pull the top half of hair back, and secure into a half-up poof. Finish by spraying generously with hairspray.
