The Boys Of High Summer: Crushing On The New GANT Rugger Collection

High summer. It's prime time for baseball, backyard croquet, and any sort of mixed cocktail that can help fend off the lingering heat. It's also, it seems, yet another time slot where designers can slip in yet another collection — but given that GANT Rugger's high summer 2012 offerings feature colorful takes on the country-club styles we love to see on our boys (and some of our writers like to see on themselves). Like they do on the reg, GANT has whipped together a parade of fun, updated takes on the stuff one might want to wear to Hamptons polo matches, lawn-tennis bouts, or just a trip to the local joint. Smartly, though, this "high summer" debut is heavy on prints and palettes that will be just as appropriate when autumn comes around.
