The Hello Kitty x Forever 21 Line That’s Surprisingly Grown-Up

Getting older means a lot of changes. Not the least of which is retiring the ol' Hello Kitty toys of our childhood to more discrete locations. Parting is such sweet sorrow...until now, because Forever 21 is bringing our Kitty back in an impressively adult way.
Forever 21's second partnership with Sanrio presents The Hello Kitty Forever Collection, which features clothing, accessories, home goods, and travel gear. The collab includes everything from a chic chiffon top with a Hello Kitty silhouette pattern — complete with her iconic bow, of course — down to Hello Kitty bedding in soft pastels with a Baroque effect, and a campaign fronted by the gorgeous Alexandra Spencer of 4th and Bleeker.
Subtle and elegant, the whimsical collection knows how to play to our soft spot for the beloved cartoon character. Plus, if you're feeling a bit bolder, there are also a statement Badtz-Maru graphic knit sweater and pink polka-dot Chococat PJs that are so adorable we'd wear 'em in public. And, with Onch Movement creating the Hello Kitty-inspired jewelry for the collection, including our personal favorite, the Pretzel Necklace, we can now wear our favorite snack food around our necks, unabashedly.
Hello Kitty Forever hits stores worldwide on November 16, but click ahead to see the not-just-suitable-for-children lookbook.
