Not all looks shown during Fashion Week actually make it into stores in its runway version. Most get trimmed down, simplified, and engineered for mass production — so you get a much more wearable version than the over-the-top creations you see on the models. But, what if the original that you're working with consists of a hat made of teddy bears and a dress made out of a shopping bag?
For Moschino's 30th anniversary, the brand really dove into the wacky, churning out a grin-inducing parade of craziness (don't worry — there were plenty of logo tees, trim jackets, and cheeky dresses amidst the novelty headbands and croissant necklaces). A 30th birthday party is one of the more existential ones in any person's life, and it seems to be the same deal with a brand. Instead of getting a real job, joining Match.com, and donating all its miniskirts, Moschino's doubled-down in the childlike playfulness that's defined the brand for decades. Click through for the five most over-the-top looks from the show. Never change, Moschino!
