Oftentimes, less is more. But, when it comes to denim, we have eight reasons to believe otherwise. Denim is a neutral (as far as we're concerned), so matching like with like is kind of a no-brainer. However, the trick lies within the execution.

Or, layer a button-up under a classic jacket and on top of a pair of slouchy jeans for a slightly rugged look that's perfect for the tomboys in the bunch.
