Call it a case of embellishment fever, but we simply can't get enough of the trend. And, this standout piece from Stella McCartney's resort '14 collection is an absolute stunner — no ifs, ands, or buts about it. The oversized-cut, crystal-adorned frock is accented with heart, lip, and matchstick motifs, so it's essentially our ultimate Valentine's Day getup (or NYFW street-style look). Even Olivia Pope, er, Kerry Washington is onboard — which means that it's got the White House's stamp of approval, too. Okay, maybe that's pushing it, but we'd wager that even the fashion-adventurous Ms. O can appreciate the utter awesomeness of McCartney's design.
Offset by the pastel pink, satin-twill dress, the punchy trimmings help create a playful-yet-ladylike style we love. And, it's one we've seriously considered purchasing, too. The only hitch? Well, it's priced at just under $3,000, which is a major bummer.
