Rag & Bone’s New Name Jackets Probably Don’t Include Your Own

When you go into Rag & Bone, you go looking for fantastic separates. You know the kind: knock-around booties, luxe hats, live-in-them sweaters, and well-made jeans you'll never wash because you wear them every day. Luckily, you'll be able to score all those sought-after pieces come fall '14. Though, this time, they will be mixed in with some louder numbers like an oversized sweater with the knit work of a Komondor. Indeed, this season seems to be all about the mix.
Though there are plenty of the usual suspects — luxe leather pants, practical boots that everyone will want, a pop-of-red handbag — the standout items were definitely those embroidered with models' names. The brown-blue-and-navy jackets and jumpsuits boasted the names of each wearer: Georgia May and Jourdan, among them, instantly creating a cool-kid crew we wanted to be a part of. There were cargo shorts over long johns, splattered jeans, and practical blazers that ran the gamut from great basics to absolutely swoon-worthy. So, what the collection may have lacked in connectivity, it definitely made up for in swagger. After all, how could Karlie Kloss not sell us a silk bomber and plaid skirt? Yep, these are the types of things we'll definitely hit up that brick-and-mortar for come fall.
