Cult cinephiles know that nothing excites the brain like the head-rush of an Edgar Wright movie. Which is why we'd like to give the Midnites For Maniacs org major props for not only screening a triple bill of Edgar Wright films—Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, Hot Fuzz, and the classic zom-com of our time Shaun of the Dead—but for also inviting the young filmmaker himself, in the flesh, for a Q&A. It all goes down Friday night at the Castro Theatre, and it's a great time for newbie fans to watch all the flicks in a row, the fanatics to L-O-L all over again, and meet the man behind it all. Plus, limited-edition posters for the night (see below), created, signed, and numbered by artist Alex Pardee, will be sold exclusively at this event. Double-psssst: Wright has co-authored the screenplay for Steven Spielberg and Peter Jackson's upcoming and sure-to-be-epic Adventures of Tintin, so if you have any questions, now's your chance to speak to him directly or forever hold your peace.
