"Comfortable" clothes get a bad rep. But looking like you are about to, say, take a long car ride doesn't always have to exclude looking like you're on your way to work or dinner and drinks. At least not when it comes to R29 fave Brooklyn brand, Ace & Jig, that knows a thing or two (or several) about keeping city women stylish and easy-breezy. The trick is in their specially made yarn-dyed fabric (and, of course their unique aesthetic).
For spring '14 the label has served up another robust batch of everyday dresses and separates we could see on a range of New York women. Picture the floor-length kaftan on a long summer ride out to The Rockaways or Montauk, the live-in-them frocks on a shopping day at the Brooklyn flea, and the seersucker trousers complimented as they ride up the office elevator. Or, better yet, just picture them in our closets.
