Bay Area designer Ali Golden put herself on the local fashion map a few years back with her microclimate-friendly wrap vests — but it’s her fall '12 collection that we’re really all wrapped up in. This one has us totally spellbound!
The line, ranging from deep royal blue and tangy orange to paprika red, was created with silk and wool fabrics and stitched together entirely in San Francisco. Standing apart from the rad collection is Golden’s camel trench, which features deep pockets, easy-to-move-in half-sleeves, and a totally on-trend layered front. “I was trying to set the stage for a line that focuses on simplicity and versatility, but is unique in fit, color, and proportion,” explains Golden.
We think she nailed it. Click through the lookbook, styled by Rebecca Calavan and photographed by Anna Elledge, to see all the amaze pieces, (a.k.a everything that's on our “must-have” list), from an all-white, wear-everywhere shirtdress to a super-cute peach number sporting a cutout back, after the jump. Then, score the pieces for yourself by pre-ordering at Golden’s Temescal Alley boutique, starting March 29.
