Proving that green fashion doesn't have to be gag-worthy, new S.F.-based label Amour Vert, which means "green love," en francais, is all about wares that are as stylish as they are sustainable. The eco and affordable line — the brainchild of Parisian native and S.F. import Linda Balti and her Stanford MBA partner Christoph Frehsee — is rolling out its first real statement-making collection for this holiday and the spring 2012 seasons.
“Our spring collection theme is 'Vacance Chic,'" explains Balti of the casual-cool line of upgraded basics. "We looked to the South of France for a series of marine-inspired looks and effortlessly chic dresses. Our palette features bright colors that will sparkle under the sun.” Get an exclusive first look at what she's talking about in the lookbook, after the jump. And, if you like what you see, head over to amourvert.com, which is already hawking select pieces.
