There is always that one lone ranger at the party who shows up in a suit and looks a thousand times better than anyone else there. Beyond just a “power suit” — this kind of flattering, feminine, versatile tailoring does much more than just exude power. And for decades, Armani has been the go-to designer for women of that particular breed.

During Armani's 40th anniversary event, all those women got together, and with their powers (and power suits) combined, showed the entire world up with one of the chicest collection of party outfits we’ve ever seen. The festivities included a runway show, the opening of the Armani/Silos exhibition, cocktail parties, and even an official government stamp (for a truly couture snail mail experience). But, the real event was obviously the Armani clothes.
