Sure, the thousands of artists and the $20,000-installations are what bring everyone to our little piece of paradise during Art Basel Miami Beach, every year. But we all know what comes a pretty close second: the people-watching! This year, the celebs, big-name collectors, and designers were out and about in full force. Oh, you want names? Well, P. Diddy was dining at Mr. Chow last week in celebration of the coffee-table book Culo, by Mazzucco. Owen Wilson was hanging with Val Kilmer and Adrien Brody at Louis Vuitton’s beachfront party at Soho Beach House. And Sean Penn was partying it up at Wall during the Dom Pérignon-sponsored after-party for Aby Rosen’s annual dinner. But really, the true show-stoppers in our book were the endless style crusaders walking the fairs, who were sometimes chic and sometimes scary, but always interesting.
