Meet The Dusty, Moroccan-Inspired Beauties At Pamela Love

If wanderlust is contagious, then the rusty, sunset-in-the-desert eye makeup from Pamela Love's spring '12 presentation will be the first thing to send you into a fever. The smudgy look—courtesy of Gina Crozier for MAC—is a blend of brown Embark eyeshadow and rust-hued Antiqued, with a red-brown called Foile brushed along the lower lash-line. Continuing the nomadic vibe, Sebastian hairstylist Anthony Cole created distressed fishtail braids topped off with colored turbans and cowboy hats. Of course, some of the coolest beauty elements were in the details: Crozier drew from a Berber-inspired wedding tradition and added a black vertical line down the middle of the lower lips, Cole finished off the braids with strips of brown leather, and Essie manicurist Elle created an earthy, reverse French chevron mani.
