Hear This! We’ve Got 5 Hot Overseas Bands To Listen To Now

An epidemic is sweeping through the U.S. It seems Americans are stricken with a fever: Anglofever! The Brits are invading our country through almost every medium, and our beloved Cali hasn't been spared. U.K. dwellers are involved in our most-buzzed-about small-screen obsessions (hello, Downton Abbey and Sherlock) and they're infiltrating our shopping centers and closets courtesy of Topshop moving into The Grove (can the day arrive already?).

Most important of all, the Brits are dominating our festival stages and iTunes libraries courtesy of super-cute boy bands One Direction and The Wanted, sweet indie gems from Birdy and Ed Sheeran, and, of course, a little album called "21." (Seriously, does anyone not own that album?)

However, we Angelenos are never ones to follow anyone else's trends — we dance to the beat of our own drums. So, while everyone else is scouring England for the "next Janelle Monae," we broadened our horizons for our next overseas obsessions.
