While we're well aware of (and completely psyched about) all the denim silhouettes available to us this fall, we always like to have a pair of skinnies at the ready. For most, they serve as a closet essential, there to be plucked out at any minute and paired with an oversized tee or sweatshirt for running errands, or worn with heeled booties for an impromptu date night. But, with so many options priced well over a Benjamin, we asked Rank & Style to hunt down the very best pair we can buy under $100.
The winner, according to Rank & Style's system of collecting stats, reviews, and product popularity, is a pair by Blank NYC. They're distressed, slightly worn in at the thighs, and ring in at $88. But, while we have a hard time arguing with math, we're still open to suggestions for other top contenders. After all, any denim devotee — or at least anyone with a favorite pair — knows the most important thing to consider when buying jeans is how you feel in them — not just hearsay and numbers.
This Blank pair could very well be the best you can buy, but like any item in your closet that you want to get the most bang for your buck for, we advise you test them out, too. In this case, use math's solid recommendation and take these jeans for a spin in order to assure they can deliver on the promise. Check out all the retailers who sell the numbers-approved pick ahead, and weigh in below on your own research findings.
