White Shoes To Start Summer Off With A Clean Slate

Mondays are hard enough already. We don't need our anticipation of Memorial Day weekend to drag out the hours even more. Yet, here we are, letting our minds wander to barbecues, cutoffs, and other summery things — even if the solstice isn't for another month. However, there are still a few items to check off our list now — namely, our it's-not-summer-yet-but-it's-still-close-enough essentials — before we pack our weekender bags.

The sartorial transition from spring to summer is not as crucial as that from winter to spring. But, it still requires some white-hot upgrades to brighten up our warm-weather ensembles. It may still be too soon for the full-on monochromatic duds, but we have some crisp, white footwear to ease you into summer dressing, one step at a time.
