We've noticed a new trend in wedding photo books: brides trading their bouquets to pose with Berettas. Shotgun wedding jokes aside, most couples tell us that this comes from feeling comfortable with firearms and wanting to include them in their day. "My family used to make their own bullets when I was a little girl," says Leigha McLaurin of Moorseville, NC. "I decided to use guns on my wedding day because I saw a funny picture on Pinterest with the groomsmen holding flowers and the bridesmaid and bride holding guns."
Weddings are meant to be personal — but sometimes those personal choices are controversial. It’s ultimately up to each bride and groom how they accessorize, and if that includes displaying their Second Amendment rights, so be it. What do you think about this trend? A little gun-shy? (Sorry, we had to.) Exercise your First Amendment rights and tell us below.
