From Instagram-based photo shoots to Google Glass at NYFW, there’s no turning your cheek at the forceful impact tech has had on the fashion world as of late. It really seems like only a matter of time before we’re all thumbing through hashtags instead of glossies or viewing shows completely via iPhone. Um, the latter actually is happening — thanks to Apple and Burberry’s recent announcement that they’ll be streaming video and snaps using the iPhone 5s’ iSight camera during and before the British brand's spring '14 show.
In case, you missed our rundown on the newest iPhone release, that means these pics are going to be crisper and cleaner than ever. “This collaboration celebrates our relationship and shared foundation in design and craftsmanship,” CEO Christopher Bailey noted in a press release. “We’re inspired by what this could mean for the future as we continue to explore the merging of physical and digital experiences.” Get pumped for both launches — the show and the phone — by heading over to Burberry’s social media pages, where you can spy the pretty pics and vids, now!
