Pshh Who Needs Models? Real New Yorkers Star In This Sweet Fall Lookbook

With forces like Garance Doré and The Sartorialist reinventing the face of modern fashion and creating style stars on the sidewalk, it's very appropriate that Brooklyn-based designer Carrie Parry took a similar approach to her newest collection. The label has partnered with The Self-Portrait Project (essentially a "glorified photobooth") to produce the fall '12 lookbook. But, don't expect to see any vanity shots here! Whew. The lookbook features real bloggers and New York trendsetters. Cool, right? If anything, we think Carrie Parry's floral and architectural prints look even more bold and vibrant against a white backdrop on real girls having fun. Plus, with pieces like Parry's circus costume print (trust, it's rad), it's hard not to cheer for the playful colors and mood of the entire collection.
