Now that we're heading into the warmer months — if it does actually decide to stay warm in NYC —pants are beginning to feel a bit too restricting. And, while dresses are great for those days that you don't even want to think about your outfit, there's something about separates that makes getting dressed that much more fun. Personally, I classify skirts into two categories: slink and flounce. And sure, there's a time and place for some slink, but I much prefer a flounce. Enter: the circle skirt.
Circle skirts are so easy to wear, universally flattering (I know — we hate that word, but they are!), and can actually be pretty bad-ass with a bit of strategic styling. The inherently prim shape pairs perfectly with crisp button-down shirts, sleeveless turtlenecks, cropped knits, cheeky T-shirts, and of course, leather jackets. Need a few suggestions in size curvy?
