In Friday lame news, the Huffington Post is reporting on Brooklyn tattoo parlor Citizen Ink Studio's reaction to Tuesday's underwhelming tremors. Right after the mini-earthquake, owner Joe Khay drew an "I Survived The Quake" tattoo and posted it on Facebook, offering to etch it on anyone for the bargain bin price of $30. While that's kinda funny, the fact that one Jonathan Berg decided to act on the advertisement is not. The Gerritsen Beach-native was the first one to get branded, his logic being that, "It was just a minor thing and people were making it into a serious subject." Right, getting a permanent reminder of something no one will remember next year is pretty inconsequential. And, in our minds, insulting to say, this year's other earthquake.
