Clarissa Labin Spring 2011 Channels The Little Mermaid (Including A Seashell Top!)

As much as we want to welcome the wintry weather with layered looks and open arms, collections like Clarissa Labin 's spring '11 collection have got us in deep denial that the temperature's about to take one chilly dive. The German designer's spring lookbook, with its loose-fitting dresses and ultra-short shorts amongst a palette of mustard yellow, off-whites, pale blues, and a perfectly portioned pop of red, is like spring personified. We're loving Labin's little details, such as the seashell-inspired scalloping strung throughout the collection—and the more literal seashell-bra graphic tee, in which you can get the Ariel look without baring your midriff—and the cut-outs she even extends to biker shorts. We'd be rocking that red romper right now if it were warmer, but since there's no fast-forward button for the seasons, we'll be waiting anxiously for the spring.
