Daisy Lowe Wants To See More Feminine Shapes In Magazines

It-Girl Daisy Lowe has been modeling in a daughter-of-a-famous-person vein for awhile, but her undeniable sex appeal and gorgeous mug lend her modeling career a credibility that many others aspire to achieve. What's more, she's got a body that many women can relate to. In the new ASOS magazine (available online February 4), shot by Guy Arouch, Daisy waxes about the lack of curves in the industry:
"My dream is to see a lot more female shapes in ad campaigns when I look through magazines...my friend was working with Crystal Renn and said she thinks she's only got a 38-inch hip. Karl Lagerfeld said he was going to embrace her womanly shape and then he just put her face on the ad campaign. Girls are starting to have tits in pictures, but I think it still needs to be about the curve... Real women have hips and an arse, yet loads of models in shows seem to have neither."
Though we believe "real women" come in all shapes, sizes, and ass-blessedness, we're thankful that there are vocal ladies out there fighting the good fight. Make sure to read her full interview in ASOS magazine on February 4th!
