Cousin Matthew FTW! Dan Stevens Named Britain’s Best-Dressed Man

Warning: REALLY BIG SPOILER ALERT! Stop reading now if you haven't yet seen the 3rd season of Downton Abbey — yes, Yankees, that's you!

For our money, Prince Harry's bare-arsed romp in Vegas was the top men's style moment of the year (don't judge), but it seems the team at
British GQ
are inclined to disagree.

In fact, our favourite ginge failed to make the cut at all with the men's magazine's just-released 2013 list of the Best-Dressed Men in Britain (though brother William came in 37th place and that dark horse Prince Charles swooped into the eighth place).

But, what British bloke could possibly have the sartorial chops to pip the likes of Tinie Tempah, David Beckham, One Direction's Zayn Malik, Robert Pattinson, and, er, frock-wearing Grayson Perry to snag the top spot? Why, it's none other than Dan Stevens,
Downton Abbey
's dashing, and dearly departed Cousin Matthew Crawley. Guess things are looking up for that guy after all.

Proving he knows how to cut a handsome figure even when he's out of morning coats and WWI uniforms, Dapper Dan placed first thanks to his suave off-duty style. We still haven't forgiven him for leaving Downton, but we suppose congratulations are in order.
