There are a lot of reasons why we love Dexter: the hunky lead, the barrage of Miami references, and the captivating plot, to name a few. And, as evidenced by the slew of awards and recognition, we're not the only ones who are obsessed with the bloody good drama. While Emmys and Golden Globes are fine and dandy, we think the best way to celebrate the show is with an honor that most would consider slightly bizarre (and, quite fitting!).
Enter: pastry chef Sarah Magoon, who sets up shop at Steak 954. Located in the west Fort Lauderdale, the shabby-chic restaurant will serve up a Dexter-inspired dessert that'll make all mouths water. Beautifully plated, the crème brûlée cheesecake comes with rhubarb compote and a wild strawberry and graham cracker tuile. The splatter of faux blood is sticky sweet, and the whole dish will only set you back a mere $9. Dying to try the tasty creation? Cruise on over and feel free to play with your food — Dexter would encourage it!
