Diane Keaton is cool. Sure, it’s a simple statement, but what word better, more comprehensively describes an Oscar-winning actress, style icon, respected memoirist, real estate developer (who knew?), and Huffington Post blogger? We wouldn’t mind having her as our own personal mentor. And lucky for us, she’s putting her thoughts on paper and donning her authorial hat for a second book that focuses on women’s beauty issues.
Following the warm reception of her 2011 memoir, Then Again, her new, still-untitled tome will tackle more universal issues, like our cultural obsession with aging and appearance. She wants to explore why women, herself included, regularly feel disappointed when they look in the mirror. Way to keep it real, Ms. Keaton.
