Catch Indie Flick Dirty Old Town For One Day Only At The Roxie

Photo: Courtesy of Dan Levin
The hottest movie ticket this weekend? Surprisingly enough, it's not Crazy, Stupid, Love. Instead, it seems there's a one-day screening of indie flick Dirty Old Town—directed by Dan Levin, Jenner Furst, and Julia Willoughby Nason, and produced by Paul Sevigny—going down on Saturday night at the Roxie, and we're sure it's gonna be a mob scene. Check out the trailer for the NYC-centric film, which looks sort of like Kids, but all grown-up and a bit grittier, here. In Levin's own words, it's a "gonzo-tone poem about the Bowery; a style quest chock-full of NY vibrancy, and an unmistakable visual signature." Interested? Each of the four screenings of the world-traveling film are only $5 and complimentary refreshments will be served up courtesy of Absolut and XL Energy. Get the full deets below.
