Have you heard "Heartbeats" by Childish Gambino? It is a may-jor jam about the broken-hearted. Or what about the laugh-your-face-off character of Troy Barnes on Community? Pretty much the reason we tune in. So with the guy behind both personas — the decently dreamy Donald Glover – heading into town for the South Beach Comedy Festival, we're getting confused. On one hand, we're psyched to suffer from fits of giggles, thanks to him and
fellow funnymen Aziz Ansari of Parks and Recreation, or Key & Peele of recent film release Wanderlust or, um, Shaquille O’Neal’s All Star Comedy Jam. But on the flip side, we flash back to his turn as a stylish goof in his GQ spread last September, and we get all a'flutter and begin to swoon. Fortunately we can have the best of both worlds since there is nothing sexier about a guy than a great sense of humor, which you can check out for yourself this Saturday at The Fillmore. Saturday, March 3, 7:00 p.m. The Fillmore, 1700 Washington Avenue, 305-673-7300. $32.50.
