The term "selfie" usually conjures up images of stretched-out arms and puckered-up duck faces. But for photographer Misha Vladimirskiy of Butchershop Creative, the interpretation of "selfie" happens to be very different.
The San Francisco-based lensman shoots pics of celebrities in different poses and then Photoshops them together, creating the illusion that the figures are in conversation with each other.
In what started as a playful pastime to cure boredom on the road, Vladimirskiy began snapping solo pics and then integrated two images of himself via Photoshop. He soon turned the lens around and began asking the celebrity subjects he was shooting to do the same. "There is something simple and revealing when you ask someone to do this," he explains.
Everyone from Janelle Monae to Ed Sheeran has been captured in these creative moments. Click ahead and be warned — these pics will definitely have you doing a double take.
