There's nothing better then some guilt-free partying. Yea, yea, you have work the next morning, so being hang-over conscious is still a necessity, but throwing down some vodka sodas to support a good cause alleviates the guilt of staying out past 11p.m. Such was the case last night, when our New York Editor Kristian joined forces with designer Timo Weiland at "The Party For The Pelicans," a special event presented by the The Endangered Species Coalition at one of our fave place, The Wooly. As we told you yesterday, the event was held to help save the many endangered species affected by the BP Oil Spill, and it seems like many a fashionable New Yorker wants to support the critters. In one corner, jeweler Waris Ahluwalia held court with Tara Subkoff and Arden Wohl, while on the dance floor Dree Hemingway and Steven Rojas got very intimate with a vintage globe (much like Kristian made friends with a microphone) to the beats of Matt+Maia. Even after the open bar ran out, guests like Yigal Azrouël, Tom Sachs, and Leelee Sobieski raged on—c'mon we're doing it for the pelicans!
