There's no denying it: Wedding season has officially flooded our Insta-feeds. Love is in the air 'gram, and New York couples are taking total advantage of the city's recent surprisingly nice weather, snapping nuptials pics amidst the grit of the place we call home.
If you've noticed a particularly high number of snaps in front of DUMBO's colorful street art, cobblestones, and massive, waterfront warehouses, however — there's a reason. Couples are flocking to the downtown Brooklyn neighborhood for some seriously cool (and super-artsy) day-of photographs.
"DUMBO is one of our most popular spots," wedding photographer Ellen Rashkovsky told DNA Info, highlighting local landmarks like Jane's Carousel and Brooklyn Bridge Park as favorite backdrops for newlyweds. "It has the best of both worlds: being in Brooklyn and seeing Manhattan." Add in some gorgeous graffiti and industrial patterns, and DUMBO is pretty much the ultimate scenery for every New York bride and groom.
