(Eco-)Lookbook Lusting: Chinti And Parker’s Easy, Breezy Summer 2011

Just as Earth Day rolls around the calendar corner, we are going giddy over Chinti and Parker's newest collection for spring '11. Once again, the London-based brand has made every effort to produce an environmentally sound product. Flowy dresses and jersey tees in navy, coral, and neutral stripes are just the kind of uniform we could wear all season, topped with a cozy bamboo cashmere sweater that anticipates a cool, summer night. With an ethical approach, Chinti and Parker have an entire laundry list of standards that they aim to meet for every article produced. Only sustainable materials, including bamboo, and buttons made of corozo (a palm nut) are used in production. In addition, they work with The Carbon Neutral Company to reduce their carbon footprint, and teamed with Teddy Exports to offer a more waste-efficient means of packaging. We wish all of our clothing could make us feel (and look) this good! Check out their newest collection that has our spring fever rising.
