Peep These Eerie, Style-Packed Stills From Emily Jerome’s Video Lookbook

We've been hot on the tail of up-and-comer Emily Jerome since her debut presentation at Paris Fashion Week back in 2010, when her singular style stood out amongst the other fresh faces. Recently, she caught our attention again with the release of her directorial debut — a dark and sultry surrealist-inspired film that Jerome shot to showcase her fall 2012 RTW collection. (Quite the Renaissance It-girl, no? Designer and auteur!)

The moody piece, replete with a lulling Cuban-ballad soundtrack, is the perfect fit for the L.A. gal's evocative detail-oriented designs. Sharp silhouettes like a stamped crocodile leather jacket mingle with close-ups of lush geometric knits that have us dreaming of curling up up by a desert campfire on a cold winter's night — even in spite of this warm summer weather. Given Jerome's resumé (she also studied Mandarin!) and her fast work of distinguishing herself in the competitive fashion world, we're sure we'll be seeing more of this bi-coastal babe on both shores.
