Unpretentious free spirit, Southern aesthete, and rock-'n'-roll-hippie beauty all describe Erin Wasson to a T — no exaggeration. A cut far above the average slashie, she doesn't just look great in street-style shots, but her aesthetic philosophy and sensibility translates to the far corners of her California crash pad. And, what a home.
One Kings Lane toured the Texan's Spanish-style Venice space (which she's had for 12 years) and interviewed her about her laid-back decorating sensibility. "The first time I walked through this property it felt like my past, present, and future all in one space," she said. "It had such a rad spirit."
We couldn't agree more. It's a casual museum of her adventures with memorabilia ranging from a note from his highness Karl Lagerfeld (asking her to be his bride) to a Masonic Temple wall hanging. High-end pieces mix with street finds in total harmony. Click through for our favorite vignettes and then over to One Kings Lane for the full interview and sale of bohemian picks. If only those red-hot silk pants were up for grabs. But, of course, no dice.
