Editor Obsession: Our Favorite French Espadrilles Are Now Available Stateside

To know our Commerce Editor, Amanda Keiser, is to covet her swoon-worthy collection of kicks, so when she told us about her latest shoe obsession, we knew we were in for a treat. And we were right.

Enter Espartine espadrilles. New to the US, each shoe is hand-crafted in Biarritz, France with 100% cotton canvas uppers and jute rope soles in traditional Basque style. So what, you ask, makes these steppers extra special? It's not just the leather accents, gorgeous hues, and modern silhouettes — in Amanda's words, "they're light, breathable, and look like they stepped right off the French Riviera, which is never a bad thing."
