Remember when the weirdest thing going on with winter hats was either the spirit hood or those beanies with the giant, metal plates on them? Well, there's a whole new thing in wackadoo headgear: Ladies and gentlemen, meet the Eugenia Kim haircut hats.
The velour-felt toppers come in two styles: the Anna, a blunt bob with piece-y bangs, and the Kiki, a bright-blue, wavy crop. Not gonna lie, though, we're a little on the fence about 'em. Kim's hats are always beautifully made, and red Anna is like a cool cloche — but, somehow, the black version is a little on the Darth Vader/Prince Valiant tip for us. Meanwhile, the Kiki would make us feel like a cartoon flapper with finger waves. Is that even a thing?
Legend has it that Eugenia Kim started designing hats to cover up a bad haircut that she got in college, so, in a way, these are the perfect solution — an instant, new haircut, people! Click on to see all of the styles, including some on-mannequin shots that will, frankly, haunt our dreams. But, we're not writing them off completely. After all, we've been wondering what we'd look like with the Kristen Wiig bob...
