Who Wore The Most (And Least) Expensive MET Gala Gown?

The idea of immediately selling the gowns worn during the MET Gala promptly after the Gala ends is a pretty novel one, harnessing the international attention given to the designers who get their goods rocked on the red carpet. Yet, with tickets at $25,000 and A-list attendees, the cost of the dresses seen on celebs is, well, pretty darn expensive. To see how much each of these frocks would set someone back, we went over to Moda Operandi to see the most and least pricey options spotted on Monday night.

Of course, not every ensemble was for sale, but a good hunk were, including some of our best-dressed picks, like Anja Rubik's Anthony Vaccarello red leather bombshell and Hilary Rhoda's Wes Gordon two-piece. But the most expensive garment of the night belonged to Constance Jablonski. She, like Rhoda, wore a Wes Gordon sculpted metal goddess gown with a leather harness — which clocked in at a robust $35,610. (Price tag be darned, the dress looked stunning on her.) From the Moda Operandi haul, it appeared that the girl who wore the cheapest dress was Emma Watson, whose Prabal Gurung cut-out floor-length was a mere $4,495. We will take two.

Prabal Gurung Crossover Tie Strap Gown With High Slit, $4,495, available at Moda Operandi.
