Scenes From Monterey’s First City Fest

After much anticipation, the inaugural First City Festival kicked off this past weekend in Monterey. For being spankin’-new on the scene, it certainly packed quite the punch with acts that rivaled some of the Bay’s biggest musical shindigs, tasty food galore, and it even upped the ante with a slew of carnival rides and games, plus a snake-wielding magician!

So, in light of the buzz, we hopped in our car and made the trek to the peninsula, where we caught the action. From MGMT and Modest Mouse hitting the stage to some nostalgic fun and games, here is a little photo tour of our time at First City Fest. Until next year, folks.
