Do you remember every time your parents embarrassed you in front of your friends? Or at least every time you were afraid your parents would embarrass you in front of your friends? If only you had thought to head off such mortifying disasters by delivering a lecture to them in advance, like 4-year-old JoJo Lomelino did to her father last week, before she was set to fulfill her flower girl duties at a wedding.
"You have to remember what weddings look like so then you can't talk to people, okay?" she explains, slowly and carefully — so her dad will really get it — in a video going viral this week (213,000 views at this writing). "And, Dad, you can't call my name when I'm going to be walking down the aisle. No one can call us, because we're going to be busy walking down the aisle."
"What if I just yell, 'Princess!'?" her dad asks from behind his phone. Astute YouTube viewers will recognize this as a callback to another video featuring JoJo explaining to her dad that she is not, in fact, a princess, because she doesn't have sparkly bracelets (that video has almost 1.4 million views at the time of this writing).
We won't spoil her patient warning about what would happen if her dad did yell "Princess" while she's walking down the aisle. Who wants to place bets on when this girl will be getting an invitation to Ellen? Within a week, we say.
Meanwhile, her dad is posting many more JoJo gems for our viewing pleasure.
