You've heard of 40 Days of Dating, right? We mean, it's kinda impossible that you haven't by this point. Short recap: Two longtime friends in New York, Timothy Goodman and Jessica Walsh, decided that, single and struggling as they were, they should give dating each other a try and create a website documenting the whole process. While, the match didn't last, the story of two wary creatives attempting to break the friendship/relationship barrier went viral, hit the networks and newspapers, and netted the twosome a movie and book deal. Not bad for two singletons.

Now, as she takes a breather between the initial buzz over 40 Days of Dating and the ramp up to its related projects, we caught a few minutes with the female half of the series, Jessica Walsh, at her Manhattan home. Surrounded by stunning pieces picked up everywhere, from photo shoots to Target, it became clear that she's taking her sudden spike in visibility in stride. After all, with the amazing work she's done for her design firm Sagmeister & Walsh (yes, yes, her partner is Stefan Sagmeister), 40 Days of Dating is just another part of her growing body of work.
