Lace Love: This Romantic Spring Line’s Got Us Blushing

When we think of spring dressing, we think of florals, bright colors, bold cuts, and airy whites. But, thanks to New York designer Gemma Kahng, we're changing our perception, our mood board, and our lust-list to make room for something a little edgier, a little broodier, and a little more Parisian. Don't get us wrong, Gemma's clothes are still happy clothes, but the super-limited color palette (holding to just black and white), insane use of lace, and attention to detail, call for an occasion more sensational — if not more formal — than just a walk through Soho, a stroll on the beach, or a Pinkberry run. And, while our planners are rather open (for now), we're looking to fill them with elegant affairs, just to rock one of these decadent pieces. They remind us a bit of paper dolls, a bit of a French circus, and a bit of what we're gonna wear as soon as the cold packs its bags.
