Georgia May Jagger Explains Why She’s Vintage-Obssessed

When your mom is Jerry Hall and dad is Mick Jagger, fashion inspiration isn't hard to come by, especially when it's of the #TBT variety. Such is the case for model Georgia May Jagger. When she was little, Jagger liked to watch style icon Hall "get ready for parties and sit in her bathroom with her. She had so many beautiful, extravagant ball gowns. She definitely influenced my fashion choices as I grew up." And, it's clear where the brand ambassador for Sunglass Hut got her love of great glasses: "My mum is my style icon for everything, but especially when it comes to sunglasses," she told us. "Her motto is 'Black oversized sunnies and bright-red lips dress up any outfit.'"
As a retro girl at heart, Jagger tends to lean toward the past in every aspect of her wardrobe. "I love iconic sunglass styles. My collection of aviators, Wayfarers, and round '70s styles keeps on growing." Her blast-from-the-past leanings also tie in to her everyday shopping strategy. "I love finding unique vintage pieces. I have a huge vintage tee collection and tons of Ray-Ban sunglasses."
Though "Frame Your Love" — her latest campaign for the optical retailer, which we scored the following behind-the-scene pics from — aims to prove that some people can look good in any style of sunnies, Jagger admits that shopping for new glasses isn't always easy. "People can get intimated about shopping for sunglasses because of all of the old rules about face shapes, because who really knows if your face is round or square or heart-shaped?" she confesses. "The best thing to do is grab a friend, preferably one with good taste, and have fun trying on a bunch of different sunglasses together 'til you find a style that you’re truly comfortable with."
