We won't try to hide the fact that we love our Manhattan HQ, but like all other urbanites, we can't resist a weekend escape (or a few) to the Hamptons — our R29 Beach House is irrefutable proof. So, it's a little hard to believe that one of our own has managed to spend year after year in the city without ever making the trip out east: editorial assistant Samantha Yu.

When our friends at the Wölffer Estate Vineyard got wind, they promptly invited her over to showcase the best that Long Island has to offer. With an insider tour of the vineyards, a horse show, and a plush night spent at the most charming Scandinavian hotel (replete with guest clogs), Samm got a luxurious taste of Hamptons' living.
