Major nerd alert: Harry Potter haters avert their eyes. For the rest of you (you are welcome to geek out with us over all things Hogwarts), you won't need a Sneakoscope to get a peek of the Potter Universe. Discovery Network's traveling "Harry Potter: The Exhibition" kicks off this weekend in New York City, with a special preview opening April 1. You can see Harry in full regalia—think Quidditch robes, a real-life Marauder's Map, and a beloved Hippogriff. The display is true to the film versions, but book-only fans will certainly get a kick out of walking through the Gryffindor common room or seeing how dwarfed they feel in the hut of Hagrid. Though the exhibit runs through September 5, the early weekend might be a good bet if you want to bypass over-excited kids and really experience the Wizarding World for yourself. Grab tickets online; whispering "alohamora" probably won't get you very far.
